2016 –  January 14th - Full council meeting – point 9.8

Leader of Hillingdon Council, Councillor Puddifoot, advised that the Council would be applying for release from the covenant under provisions in the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended). As soon as the plans were ready to be made public in relation to the proposals for the site, Council would be informed.

Councillor Sweeting asked whether the residents of Yiewsley and West Drayton would be consulted to gain their views in relation to the future use of this important community asset before any decisions were made.

Councillor Puddifoot advised that the elections held every four years enabled residents to choose who they thought was best to represent them. Individuals would have the opportunity to comment in relation to any associated planning application.
